Snack Stadium

Hooray, my first post. I've made a lot of things and decided to record this in history. Who knows, maybe one day, I'll be a millionaire because my blog is so famous. I hosted my first Super Bowl this past Sunday. I wanted to host one for a very long time and since it was my first, I thought I'd make something special. I saw similar ones online and wanted to make a version of my own. To say the least, it was a huge hit. I give to you my snack food Superbowl stadium!

The field was made out of seven layer dip with guacamole and sour cream on top. The field goals are made out of Slim Jims held together with toothpicks. I had to stick the field goals onto a block of cheese and bury them in the dip to stabilize them. the dip was placed inside an aluminum pan for turkey roasting. Rice Crispy treats were molded on top and held together with more toothpicks.

I made a toothpicks fence around the deck so no innocent snacks would fall into the field. And then I just piled on the goodies! The toothpicks around the field really helped the snacks to sit diagonally to get the stadium effect. if you're going to try to make this I suggest placing the field goals and first before you do the layers of the dip. All in all it was pretty easy! Took about it an hour and a half to finish the whole thing but it will likely take a more coordinated person much less time.I think it would have been a bit more tasty if we had won. but alas that is the way the world. I think we'll all try to forget the outcome and remember the snackfood stadium instead.
