There were already these fold up microwave dinner tables I saw at my local Goodwill. I picked one up for 4.99. I saw this awesome safari remnant at my discount fabric store Sew-Fisticated in Dorchester. I picked up some batting and went to town with my staple gun. I had to unscrew the legs from the table first before stapling away, but once I did that, I just cut out a rectangle of batting, a rectangle of fabric and stapled it on the underside, making sure to always stretch the fabric as I go along so it's tight. And Voila!

A really great ironing board where I can press without leaving the sewing machine table. I just used it today and made the whole sewing process much less time consuming. I used to have to get up and go to the ironing board and then to the machine again and again. This little wonder is great!
